TBI to TPI

I am now thinking about switching from TBI to TPI to install the TPI crate motor (maybe). What is involved insuch a switch?

Don't bother. Get an Eprom burner and keep your TBI.

I was more interested with the wiring/electrical side of things. I wanted to know what had to be done in that department more than I was actually interested in switching. If I do do some sort of swap, it will most likely be a LS1 or LS2.

The GM HO 330 hp 350 is around that then add the vortec TPI intake. Well it is actually around $2,700 when it is said and done, but the parts are brand new, the engine is mild but makes plenty of power, and it has a warrenty backed by GM.

Thanks for the repinining link. Here is a link to a pretty good engine. Not a ton of horsepower, but, hey...

and it also says "replacement for most GM vehicles from 1970-85."

why is it made for specific years?
