My dyno sheet
I have one that made 305 hp and 405 tq but I cant get a good pic of it so heres the next best one.
I dont think its too bad for being built very mild to pass emissions
here's some specs
406 block
superram w/tpis base
crane 2050 compucam
trickflow heads
about 9.5 to 1 compression
built 700R4
2500 stall
edelbrock headers
hooker cat back
3:73 rear

That looks good for a deep 12 second run to me.
Let me know if you take it out to Norwalk. There should be a group of Third Gen'ers going for a Pontiac weekend coming up soon.

Very good. Horsepower is similiar to mine. I'm posting my graph so I can compare the HP curve. You should be well into the 12's. Good luck.
Edit. You have more power down low than I which is to be expected. Should do real good on the street and pin you back into the seat.

Dam I wish I had gotton a graph like that!! I had some sort of print out. I bet if I had it cooled more and timing fixed I bet I would find the additional 9TQ to be over 400 and also I am hoping to find a few more RWHp as well

Wow 1989, I wish I could see a sample from 2.5k through 5k, that torque line looks amazingly flat from 4,250 to 4,750.... really make me interested to see what's before it.
How many miles do you have on your shortblock?

Cam Card here. I wish I put in a bigger cam now, but I am done with the motor unless something stupid happens.

Hi Goy
I suspect the torque curve is relatively flat with a little higher number down lower but not much. In my opinion it is still to much as I still have problems hooking up at the track even with the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials.
On the street tires I will roast them in 1st gear and it spins pretty good in 2nd gear as well. Allen

nice mild motor! bet it runs very well on the street.
that makes impressive power for such a small cam... i would like to see what a decent sized cam could do in a motor like that

It looks like you have a mismatch somewhere in your combo. A well matched 406ci should be making at least 350 rwhp and be very streetable/smogable. It looks like there is 50+ rwhp hiding somewhere there.
