Need EGR Selenoid pic and vac line instruction

Guys,

I rebuilt my 87 350TPI and I don't know how to re-hook up the EGR selenoid. Can someone show me a pic of your 87 selenoid. Also, their is to vac lines that hook up to this which ones go where?

Thanks for the help.

Vader,

Yes I checked out the threads, one question is though. My car has the small hard plastic line that runs from throttle body hooking into small hole of EGR Selenoid rubber connector. The larger inlet runs to the EGR. According to what you describe in the thread you attached, mine is backwards. They fit perfect were they are and would not fit correctly if I swicthed them. My car is an 87TPI. Am I missing something or did a previous owner rig something up?

I can't say which line goes where off the top of my head, but they're hard molded lines so I'm sure you've got it right. Like you stated, they should fit perfectly, and won't fit the wrong way.

well, on my car, the small black plastic line is hard molded and fits in the small hole perfectly. As for the bigger line, it looks like it was converted to rubber line and has a plastic nipple that comes out of the end to fit perfectly in the larger hole. That was probably changed before I owned the car. I would still like to know which line goes where officially. If someone with an 87TPI 350 could check wich line goes to EGR and which goes to TB, I would appreciate it.

This picture might help. I'm doing the same thing you are doing, but also having to chase down every vacuum hose to make it run right.
