tpi harness, use a v6?

tpi harness, use a v6?
can you use a v6 harness that goes to the 7730 computer and just add 2 more fuel injector plugs? i looked through the book really quickly and it looks as if it's wired the same, anyone done this?

Almost all GM harnesses from anything that had an ecm in it are very simliar in nature. Most sensor wire colors are the same from engine to engine car to car even.
I dont have a manual in front of me now, but I have seen CCC, TBI and TPI(maf) all made to work with SD TPI. Works well if u have the time and inclination as well as a decent harnesss to start with.
So I do not see how using the 6 cylinder harness might be any different.
Would do some wire checking as far as length is concerned, if u have to add to every wire, it would be easier to start out with a conversion from a v8 harness
