oK I can't find my o2 wire.
basket case when I bought it

I looked at the wire bundles and nothing.
Where is it?
Someone has mad some changes, I can tell by the duck tape on some of the wires.
Is it possible they deleted it?
Why would the do that??
How do I trace the wire from the ECM to the engine bay?

Id like to trace it out to the fire wall.

You should be looking for a purple wire with a long plug on the end of it. I'm guessing it'll be near the driver side exhaust manifold if they haven't hacked things up too badly.

 

No purple wire hanging out, anywhere.
took the cover of the wire bundles. still can't find that wire.

is it the only dark purple wire in the bundle???

I was going to find out where it is at the ecm, then trace it through the fire wall.

I have an '87 Electrical Service Manual. It looks like it should go into Pin D7 on your ECM, should be a dark purple wire.

 

The bundle under the porp. valve is where it comes out on my car. The wire is purple on after the plug. Not sure what colour it is in the bundle. Single round connection.

It was a pain to trace from the ecm.
I was hiding in the wireing bundle.

what a job, there were a few purple wires in there.

also found my batery draw problem, is was my rear window defrost.
that also was a pain to find.

Nope draw is back, its moved, looks to be going through the ecm, now might be ignition problem
crap.
another 4 hour job that didn't pan out.
