how hard do u think a good condition 6 speed from a 82-92 tpi vette would be to find, bcause i know the t-5 behind my v-8 isnt gonna last to long lol

You mean a ZF6? You'd be better off trying to find a T56.

thats the 6 speed from the tpi vette right, yeah i know the t-56 is better but im in high school i dont have the cash :/

The ZF6 was used in Corvettes from 1989 to 1996. If you can find one, it will probably cost you more than a T56, and it will be harder to fit into your car. Before that the Corvette used the 4+3, and you really don't want one of those.

k, so t-56 is in best interest, so i have a hydrolic clutch atm, a stage 3 clutch kit, would i need anything else to make the swap? ( maybe diff bellhousing and driveshaft) ?



how much do u think it would run me



any imput is appreciated

I good T56 and clutch will run you about 2 grand.

even used t-56?, i alrdy have a centerforce clutch on it, unless i need to change that for the t-56

Yes thats for a good used transmission and clutch...I dunno if your cluch would work or not...
