Throttle Body

I see on E-Bay a guy that is boring throttle bodies.. Anyone tried one, if so how do they work.. My 383 needs more cfm..

You may just want to invest in a new, bigger size TB. 52 or 58mm.

thanks for the reply Boss355.. Are you saying they are junk or not worth the $150.00.. A new one runs around $330.00 for a Jegs 52 mm..

I bought one from a guy in Texas, he's now selling on e-bay. If it's him, they're worth every penny, he offers a 52 mm and 53.5mm. Excellent work and deal!

$150 + another $50-$75 for an air foil to recieve the same results as a throttle body. Doesn't our stocker flow something like 780 cfm? That's quiet a bit... I'm turning 7,500 through a 750 carb...
