BBK 52mm throttle body

Some one told me that it isnt even worth it to put a 52mm throttle body from bbk on my car and told me that I should "port" mine. I didnt even think that you could do this to a throttle body.

I believe Ive heard that a stock throttle body will support over 350 horse, might be more then 400. So unless you makin more than that money could be spent else where. Ill be doin a head, cam, headers, and intake swap this winter. If I have a few extra bucks I might get one, but mostly just to have a nicer lookin TB. Going to polish my intake pretty soon and I think it would be hard to polish the TB due to all the corners, sensors and vacuum lines comin out of it. Thats my 2 cents

I've heard the same thing as above...but I went ahead and installed a 52MM BBK on mine...and as far as the butt dyno...I noticed a pretty noticeable difference...everyone else that test drove my car after the installation did too...basically on a stock engine with alot of bolt on's....
