Antifreeze smell

Hello everyone!

I fired up the Formula today after about 2 weeks of sitting in the garage.

While I was going down the highway, I noticed the smell of antifreeze coming thru the vents.

What would cause this? And how would you fix it?

Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Sounds like a failed heater core to me. Do a seach to see what you need to do to replace that.

I just had the heater core replaced for the 2d time on my car. I replaced it the first time in 1992, and swore I would never do it again. That's why I paid to have it done this time. Do you get any fogging of your windows when the heater is on? That is another sign that your heater core may be leaking. I also had coolant leaking onto my carpet on the right side of my console. Not that difficult of a job, just tight spaces to work in and kind of tedious.
