Preferred Oil Pressure Guages?
OK, I looked to see if there was an easy way to install an aftermarket Pressure guage. I cant seem to find what I am looking for. I want to put a new guage in and what I a curious about is if there is a model that will plug right in to the set up that we have. I already swapped the switch that sits behind the distributor thinking that is what was causing my guage to spin completely backwards. This was not the case. So, I am just going to put another in and be done with it. Any suggestion or preferences on what you guys have used? Oh yeah, its going on an 86 305 TPI engine, if you need to know.

Right above the oil filter in recessed area of the block is an oil plug that you could tap into. The only warning is that if you strip the bolt, it is a PAIN to get fixed, or you might just not get the plug out of there, so take your time. I have an Autometer electric oil pressure gauge, but I got so tired of having to make love to the engine bay just to get to the sensors at the back of the engine i just made a bracket and relocated everything...
