I'm going to need 30#'rs for the 383, I see the Accels for 250 bucks. Is that the way to go? Bosch's are like 400 and that seems a little steep if it's the same. But are there others?

wish I'd known that. I bought the Accel 30# injectors from Summit. They're kinda loud. When I started up the motor, I thought I had lifter, rocker arm adjustment problems (hydraulic roller!) until I put a stethoscope on the injectors. It's pretty noticable. I wonder if the Ford injectors are quieter.

Definitely the SVO/Ford racing 30#'s.
They tend to have a little more noise than stockers but arent too bad. Depends on how loud everything else is on the car really.
Lots of issues with fols and accell injectors, I've also seen them fail when still fairly new/low mileage.
As far as the SVO's go, I have seen them come with 2 different 0-rings on them. The second type are slightly smaller than the GM type and I would recommend replacing them with GM equivelant 0-rings.(set them side by side and u will see the difference). Other than that, u will be ready to roll.
