not a mistake if you keep the boost low with a reasonable tune

For some reason I have a feeling this will be a very fast car. I will meet your crank in saudi arabia when it gets there.

Fast? "Fast" is a relative term.

As for your idea, this is the result:

Honestly, I think your main concern with a TT setup is strengthening your motor and drivetrain up, because it's going to be handling alot of stress...and lets face it, you won't be babying it anytime soon

As for beating SRT4's...you do the math.

4cyl + 1turbo vs. 8cyl + 2turbo.

You are doubling him in both respects, so 99% of the time, yes, you will spank the hell out of an SRT4, unless it is rediculously worked.

Preston Smiths car I take it? that thing so rocks lol I remember whan it was in magazines like 10 yrs ago lol Its a runner.

Your 305 should last just fine.

I would recommend a leakdown and compression test to see how things are.

Run a real management system though.

If u do it nicely I could see 12-15 psi intercooled on it.

Like convert to a sy/ty 749 and go slow and easy on learning the tune. It will pay for itself as well as keep your engine together :-)

Lots cheaper than aftermarket stuff too.

Yes, that's Smitty's car. I archived the video as encouragement to all of us "slow" 305 drivers.

FWIW, if you run boost, installing larger runners and plenum is less of an issue.

wheelstandin87 Alittle off topic but what mods do you have in your 89 Iroc to run a 13.4?

If your having to ask if it will work, you probably won't want to do the install.

It would be a scary fast machine though. Single turbo L98s with stock compression, cam, heads have made some 360 rwp+
