Bolting Coil Bracket onto Intake Bolts????

i have a 1991 z28 that had the TPI and now has a stealthram. i would like to mount my coil using the two center intake bolts on the passenger side...

can i remove those two center bolts (intake has already been bolted on), bolt on the coil bracket, and have everything hold up and seal correctly?]

TIA

Only the extreme outboard bolts enter the water jackets. As long as you do not loosen the rest of the intake flange bolts on that side, and torque the bolts back to the spec, you should have no problems. If you loosen all the bolts on that side, simply retorque them all in proper sequence.
