Accel injectors(why no 22lbs)
I'm looking at replacing my injectors and want to use Accel on my 91 350 tpi. Why no 22lbs made by Accel? So should I go 21 or 23?

yeah , Accell is junk I keep hearing here. SVO is ford injectors. They rate them at a different psi than GM does , so there is a little tuneing needed to optimize them

Stay away from Accell for injectors.
Get the SVO/Ford Motorsports injectors, its just aname change but the same thing.
Either have to go under by a size or over by a size, most on 350 go with the 24# and a small prom adjustment should make everything fine.

What would you recommend for a stock 91 350 TPI and possibly up to 300 hp in the SVO injectors? When you say fine tuning does that require a AFPR? I'm new so please bare with me. Thx.

When you change the size of injectors, you need to have a chip burnt for that new size.
The computer thinks it's firing 22# injectors and it knows how much fuel a 22# injector will fire so it makes adjustments accordingly so your car runs correctly. If it thinks it has 22#, but now it REALLY has 24#, the tune will be off and the car won't run right.
Now with 24 pounders, your car will probably run OK, but that doesn't mean you SHOULDN'T get it tuned.

An AFPR is NOT needed, although it won't hurt.
A correct PROM tune with a regular pressure regulator may not be optimal for HP/performance, but it's not incorrect.
An incorrect PROM tune with an AFPR is INCORRECT. No matter how the car sounds, it's NOT running like it should.

I have Accel #36 injectors, for three years now, and have never had a problem with them. I do believe though, its certain flowing injectors that are the problem ones. #22, #24, are the most popular sizes, and they seem to be the "bad" batches.

Everyone seems to be recommending the SVO injectors. Is the Summit P/N FMC-M-9593-A302 (that style) the SVO injectors everyone recommends? Thx.

You can run 24# and still be ok. It may run a tiny bit rich, but if you plan on adding more mods, it will need the smidgen of extra fuel anyways.
