Make sure you get the heads if your looking to make a performance build. Dont cut any wires and just take your time. If you find a sensor where it doesn't go, then just search on here and im sure someone can help.
Welcome to tpi.

That's a pretty good price.
Yeah, number one is don't cut any wires.
Part of the harness runs inside the car on the passenger side fender. That'll be the hardest part of removing the harness.
There's a bulkhead connector right there; you'll have to remove the pass. fender to get it out (believe me, it's easier to just remove the fender than to fight that cramped space).
On the other side of that bulkhead connector is only the computer connectors (two) and the (I think it's call the IP connector) which basically has the injector power wires and some other leads (it's a clear connector).
The intake is a snap to remove. Just be extra careful with the plastic vac. lines; they break easily.
Hit all the intake bolts and ESPECIALLY the thermostat housing bolts with PB Blaster (the best penetrating oil money can buy) so you don't break the heads (the thermo housing bolts are notorious for that). Let them soak for a day if possible, then hit them again right before you start on them.
Use actual Torx bits, not allen wrenches that sort of fit.
Get the distributor also. You might want the throttle cable, too since it's likely a different length.
Plan on a weekend (especially if beer is in the equation).

Is it an 85 or 86?? If it's an 85, it's probably a blessing the ECM is missing. The 85 ECMs were slow and not very well supported. Hit the junk yards. Look for an 86-90 (MAF type) ecm.
