Transmission: Muncie Turbo Hydromatic 400
What size injectors

89 IROC 350 TPI
Stock engine with 9-10 pounds of boost
Stock 22lbs injectors are locking up in third gear at 6-7psi boost.
What injectors would you recommend?

Aeromotive Tsunami Fuel Pump and 8:1 FMU

If you've got an idea of the horsepower that your putting out now, you can use the formula: (HP*.5)/(8*.8). This should give you a good ballpark figure.

not real sure maybe 350 at the crank...at the most. I think 400hp is a good goal.

Math.

(400*.5)/(8*.8) = 31.25

Haven't looked up the formula, but I'm sure a search would verify if the formula given you is correct or not. That said, if you plan on going further than 400, then get the 36 lb. ones and have the appropriate chip burned.

I would say 42 #/hr (while rated at 43psi), and of course you got to program for it.
