Is MPI really that much better than TBI?
I'm looking to convert to fuel injection. My setup is listed in my sig. I don't know much about injection. I was looking at the Holley kit that would allow me to use my current setup minus the carb, and throw a throttle body on top with 4 injectors. I've also considered the Holley mutli-port kit, but it is significantly more expensive. Is it really that much better? Thanks in advance.

TBI OR MPI, well Id say MPI. I havent seen exact dyno charts proving it. With stock motors the MPI would deff outperform the TBI, but even with your setup Id still bet that the MPI is gonna make more power. How much more expensive is it ??

Talking from experience here..I had the TBI on my truck and traded out for a MPFI setup and the difference is unbelievable. My torque is down a little on the low end but it makes up for it from 2500 rpms on.

That truck is completely BADASS !!!! That is one sweet ride you got there. That paint is perfect for it especially with the gloss black grill and front spoiler. I've considered doing a truck before and I thought about a Dakota 5.9 R/T but now I know Im doing a full sized Chevy or GMC. That is awesome man love it !!

Sounds great man, keed me posted on its progress. Im very much interested in a 1993 454 SS that a guy is selling not too far from me. Its black and has 71,152k on the odometer, stock motor, he recently replaced water pump, timing chain and distributor, and has documented all service and regular tune ups and oil changes. He wants 5,500. Do you know much about these SS's ? Is it a reasonable price ??
