A few questions

Hey guys! i'm new to the tpi scene. I have hooker 2055 header and a hooker aero chamber exhaust that i want to put on my 305 tpi (its a 5 speed) would i NEED to tune the computer after that or would it run pretty good without any tweeking. Also what size is the stock 5 speed tpi 305 cam and are the heads on this any good or would i be better off with a 416 casting?

The headers and exhaust will not force a custom tune but you will always benefit from it if it’s done right.

The cam is .433I/.415E Duration at @.050 is 207I/214E lobe seperation is 117 degrees. The stock heads are as good as 416 castings so changing them will not help.

I just got to thinking would i need a tune if i did 1.6:1 roller rockers and the exhaust and does anyone know how the rockers would affect duration if i did? Also what are the advantages, if any, of switching to bigger injectors. sorry to ask so many questions but i'm trying to learn all this tpi stuff asap so i can get started.

you don't need new injectors , untill you get into new heads and cam . There are some great stickies up top you should read.

You do not need larger injectors until you have 325+ HP. A new cam will not need new injectors. The 1.6 rockers will work fine they will increase the valve duration a little.
