diff. between lt1 and l98 throttle body
does anybody know what the differance between a lt1 style throttle body and a l98, 89-92 throttle body. I can get a good deal on a lt1 throttle body and i need one for a l98 with a holley stealth ram. does anyone know if the iac and tps are the same? any other reasons why i couldn't use one? thanks for any help.

They are different in that they have a different TPS sensor (though you could just put a different connector on your harness and use it just fine)... The LT1 throttle bodies also have a different throttle cable mounting setup.. Oh, and if you don't get a 1993 LT1 throttle body, you also won't have a spot for a TV cable for the 700R4.. They do bolt up and have the same size bores though.
I'd say in your case you could probably get the LT1 one to work..
