Wanna see my new Camaro with a 350 TPI? ;)

Some of you may know me, some may not...

I had a yellow 1989 Pontiac Firebird a while back and a bright red 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA...

I sold everything, but I wasn't able to live anymore without an F-Body... So here's my brand spanking new (well, for me hehe) 1986 Chevrolet Camaro!

It used to be a V6 base car, but it received EVERYTHING from a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. Engine, transmission, suspension, spoilers, wheels, brakes, dash, rear end etc etc... It's really an 89 IROC-Z now you could say.

The engine is a 350 TPI by the way, everything from the IROC have about 65 000 miles on it now.

Here's some pics of the car as it sit right now in the parking. Did not was it today and all, but it give you a good idea:

No real mods as of yet I think.

The whole AC been deleted...

The A.I.R. tubes been shutted off on the manifolds... Their's a 3" in/out muffler where the cat used to be. After it's a 2 3/4 pipe that goes over the rear axle and split into 2 exits.

Their's a B&M shifter inside.

I gave the car a big tune up today. New air filters, spark plugs and wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, PCV valve and put in some Mobil 1 "5W30" synthetic oil in the engine along with a new oil filter.

I bought a set of used Hooker's 2055 headers along the Y-pipe from someone here. I don't know when I'll put them on.

Maybe I'll do that for now and do the rest of the exhaust later I don't know yet how much cash will be left lol.

Truly sexy car... (stop looking at me like that...). Whatever you do with paint, KEEP the blacked out headlight pockets!!!!! That's the entire look of the car right there!!!!

If you're keeping it red (highly recommended, but hey, your call), otherwise blue, yellow, black, and then the sweet grey/silver of what's his name, heck, white will do, or, or, or, or, whatever, you get it. Just keep it slick.

Don't worry, I won't have the whole car painted. Only the front bumper and a couple of small place.

Everything will stay the same color.

Good investment, 350 good stuff. I see your missing the Iroc-Z28 center hub cap emblems(or its just my eyes), one of mine fell off last fall and is starting to annoy me. Looked all over for a used/new one but no luck yet. But god those gold rims are tight, good luck with your new camaro.
