If you have an 85-92 Fuel injected camaro, please specify your engine size (305/350) transmission (auto/man.) and how many km's (or miles) you get to the tank.

reason i ask is i'm looking into buying a camaro, but the car i drive now gets 550-600 km's on 50L's of gas. I don't want this to be a huge hit, i am still in college

89iroc-z 350 6-speed i get about 24-25highway and around 21 city. Im pushing around 300-320hp at the fly.

 

thanks, if i calcualted my car right, im getting about 26mpg (also i'm from canada so in my conversions something could've gone wrong) so i don't think it would be a big diffrence. How do u drive? do you have a heavy foot or light foot?

 

i have a heavy foot up to the speed limit. I have a 3.27 rearend gear i run about 1400rpms on interstate at 65-70.

22mpg on the highway, 16 in town...oh crap, i gotta holley, nevermind...

 

92 305 tpi 5spd convertible T/A I get around 400km to a tank in the city.

 

I got 256 miles to my last tank(12.5 gallons) probably 70/30 highway/city. Thats about 20mpg. Since I've tuned it up, I'm averaging about 18mpg.

 

great thanks guys, i figure it'll be about a $45 a week increase in gas which shouldn't be too bad as long as i control myself to not buy alot stuff for it
