I may be able to pick up an 89 IROC for $2000, obviously its an auto, so i was wondering, should i wait until i can find a 5spd (305) or pick up this 350. what is the diffrence in fuel consumption between auto/man. noticable? or not really

Gas milage will be about the same, it all depends on how you drive it.

 

cool thanks, i think im going to buy the car, apparently all it needs is for the injectors to be cleaned, i guess some rust got into them from the line

 

If you get it, go ahead and plan on a new set of injectors, the 89's had the crappy multec injectors that will fail. fiveomotorsports.com has some good deals on bosh injectors.

 

ya looking at the car it seems like it has more problems then just the injectors, the firing order was way outta wack, so we (our 20yrs exp. mechanic friend) fixed it and it ran worse
