Conversion from early to late tpi

Has anyone successfully converted their “early tpi” which is a MAF system to the late style speed density tpi?

I know you need a new knock sensor, map sensor, computer, chip, and harness; and eliminate the maf sensor, burnoff, power relay, and ecc.
