Best place to get AFR heads? Jegs, direct?

I want to buy some 180s for my TPI (PN 118). Where is the best place? Jegs only stocks the 911s (74cc straight plug) and will arrive Aug 8. I heard Tenacious Performance but I don't buy from anyone who doesn't even list a telephone number. Is it best to just order from AFR directly? Is it true that it is always a 2 month wait? Please help me here to get rid of my cash TIA

Unless someone just happens to have a set exactly like you want, laying around in storage... then yes it will take up to 3 months sometimes to get them built and shipped out. Just bought a set of 180's with the cnc job and upgraded springs myself. Awesome heads

It always pays to shop around - I looked around a lot, & finally got my AFR 195s from WS6Store.com - and yes, it took roughly two months for me to get them (but I saved about $100!)

HTH.

They are all CNC. Just a matter of how much extra CNC. I was expecting someone to have at least any of the basic 6 PNs they list. I can use 5 of the 6 of them. It is just that I'll be droping the engine for a trany swap so would be great to swap the heads without waiting so long. Or i may just need to get other brand

There is a rough cast version as well, then two levels of CNC, street or race. At least that's the only three ways I have ever seen em sold

Jegs has a shipment in build process for several models which should get me a set in 3-4 weeks. Directly from AFR (I talked to them) or any other would be 10 weeks. So I went with Jegs. Thanks all for the replies.
