TPI throttle body cover

It is really just for decoration, not really serving a function, right? So, if I remove it for a few days, it won't affect the car running, right?

What the Juice was saying is thet the cover seals off the CCV air passages, so removing the cover will create a bit of an air leak.

Mine is a custom one-off one, and I'd people ask for one, so I thought I might take it off, drop it off smewhere, and have it duplicated.

So, I could still drive around a few days without it on. Either need to find a stocker for a few days I guess, or just see if they could duplicate it without having it on hand to duplicate.
