weird idle issues still

well my car has had a surge since i bought it so i set minimum idle and cleaned and adjusted iac and it still has a surge im thinking i should adjust tps since its the only thing i havent done. But i dont kno what to use as a jumper wire to connect the connector and sensor together also i dont get how something that is bolted on volts could change. also i noticed when driving my car the voltage surges too and when my voltage goes down so does my idle then the voltage goes back up and so does my idle.

voltage regualtor on the alternator. I was gonig to say MAF buroff relay untill you said the voltage drops and the idle changes , etc.

tps was set at .60 volts now its back to .54 volts still surges i guess the next step is the voltage regulator.

Re: weird idle issues still

if voltage moves in and out all your sensors can be affected.

ohh yea thats what i was gussing well i went to autozone for their free check and the guy said my charging system was fine but im going to check it myself tommorw in autoshop to verifie... MY problem is the same as your with the rpm and the volts surging at the same rate... did you ever find you solution... I cant stand it anymore it surges from 500-900 and it dies if i leve it in drive for more then a couple deconds at idle...

Re: weird idle issues still

check your fuel pressure if its jumping your fuel pump is probably bad or the regulator. My car was doing the same thing. Your voltage will fluctuate because the alternator puts out more volts at higher rpms.

Re: weird idle issues still

i check nad it was a steady 40 psi but i need to check again when its surging...
Also whe ni unplug the o2 i hav e no change and i dont even get a code with it unplugeed

also it runs perfect for about 7 mins when first started in the morning then after that it starts surging... so its when it get warmed up
