Which brand of wires is better?

Meaning spark plug wires on a 91 355 tpi camaro z28. Has edelbrock tes headers and y pipe, k&N filters, cutout, airfoil and hooker catback.

Thinking of either MSD or Accel. Which is better for application? Will get cap and rotor of the brand also.
thanks

I used to like Accel until I pulled my wires off and found a couple of 'em burned through.

MSD's are the best as far as resistance. However I had an issue with them not fitting on the tower correctly and I had to trim the boot on the Distributor cap end to get them to seat properly. Therefore when I replaced them I put in Accel wires and I had no issues with them.

I have a set of Taylor spark wires, which are cut to length on one end. This way you can run the spark wires to suit your specific needs, like keeping them away from hot header pipes. I ran mine up to the top of the valve covers, then down the lengthof the covers to the dizzy.

That's funny. I've measured several sets of MSD wires and they all come in around 10,000 ohms. Plus I got a hell of a shock when I touched the wires on the distributor when the engine was running. The set of Borg Warner Select #CH8833 8mm that I use measure 2,000 ohms or less, plus no shock if I adjust the distributor.

Delphi with federal mogal sleeves and a D.U.I. dist setup. best I have found to date and with the wires I had one laying on my header pipe for about an hr and it never burned through. this was the stuff that was on my old 87, still have it for my vert. EXPENSIVE though
