location of fuel pressure regulator???

Engine: 305 tpi
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 4.56 screaming pave eating :-)
location of fuel pressure regulator???

anyone happen to know the location of the fuel pressure regulator on an 88 305 tpi motor?????

Axle/Gears: Always the good ones
Its under the plenum towards rear of engine.

If you look from the pass rear of the plenum you can see it underneath, follow the vaccum line from the pass rear of the plenum.

Yea what 3.8TransAM said. It is right in front of the dist. it is held down by torx bolts and its probably black

Just the plenum.

Undo all the bolts and hit it with a rubber mallet, should come out.

How crude! The real finessè method would be to loosen all the upper runner fasteners, wrap a bit of detonation cord around all the gasketed joints, stand back about 50 yards, and yell "Fire in the Hole!" as you "release" the plenum.

Okay - Maybe the mallet is a better idea.

BBK regulator

Hope you are not considering buying a BBK fuel pressure regulator. The adjustment screw is way too long and requires grinding on your air plenum to make it fit. Not a replacement part as BBK claims. I went with the Holley and am pleased that it fits without grinding on anything. Badman

no i dont i have STANDARD fuel pressure regulator since i get it cheap because i work for NAPA :-)
