thats probably about all you would want to put in your car if you arent doing any other mods besides a full exhaust

You can search this forum for other suggestions, as this question gets asked a lot.
You are limited by the stock heads and springs to a camshaft with .470" of lift or less. The biggest cam that works is the Crane Compucam 2032. You should replace the valve springs at the same time, as they are almost 20 years old on your car and worn out.

Your heads/springs can actually handle around .500" lift or so.
An LT4 Hot Cam with 1.5 RR's would be about as big as you would want to go on your heads. I was in the same situation a few weeks ago... had the motor out and wanted to do a cam swap, so I just put in Scoggin Dickey Z28 Performance Springs with 20k stock lifters and motor runs flawless, and an LT4 Hot Cam will give you a nice little lope!

Cam-aro i didnt know you were MECP. me too!! haha, nice to see another installer who actually enjoys a third-gen. anywho, go with the lt4 hotcam. summit has a package that includes everything you need for it. might as well take the heads and get them ported. take the cam and all the new stuff it comes with to the machine shop with you just to make extra sure that your heads turn out perfect for that set up. im waiting for mine to get done at the machine shop right now

LT4 will need a tune to run best... but is fairly big for a stock L98 but will work. i'd do springs on that motor and run 1.5 rockers. should give .495 lift.
else a cheap cam upgrade will be the LT1 cam... nice cam for stock TPI cars but still mild.
some of the smaller comp cams XE cams would be nice. xe264 roller would be nice.
ZZ4 is also a nice cheap choice but will need springs to handle the lift.
