Will heads off of a 87-305 HO work on my 87 350 TPI?

I was told that if I have the 305 heads ported and polished I will have a better compression ratio than what I have now. I know the valves are smaller, so that will build compression, right?would it be worth my money to have these heads ported, polished, with a 3 angle valve job?

I originally had LB9 305 heads on my 350 and it was slower than hell. I ran a best of 15.29 with my g-tech. I think you'd be better off having your L98 heads ported and maybe going with a ZZ4 cam or something similar. Just my worthless opinion.

yeah stay with your L98 heads. Don't put 305 heads on your engine because thats pretty ghetto. there's other ways to improve preformace and save you engine.
