you think 373 gears are to much for 350 tpi
you think 373 gears are to much for 350 tpi
i went from 327 to 373 gears i have a few questions
1.you think ill see any gain in 1/4?
2.have any of you got your speedo to read right? whats the easiest way to get it to read right?
3.what do you guys shift at?
4.what do u suggest i shift at with my mods?
5.you think ill be"out of breath"by the end of the 1/4 with the 373 gears?

I too have a 3.73 rear axle to drop into my GTA, but I have no time to install them right now.
But, you NEED to change the speedo gears in your tranny. You don't state what your existing tranny is nor the tires you are using, so I can't tell you what combo you need. The combo for 3.73s with with 245/16/50s is a Grey 15 tooth Drive Gear (on the output shaft) and a Dark Grey 44 tooth Driven Gear.
The Driven Gear is a snap to change, the Drive gear is more work as you must drop the drive shaft and remove the tail cover to get at the gear on the output shaft of the tranny.
