2 days of nos, engine blown!?!?
Just put nitrous on two days ago. I was running a 100 shot.I could not get the throttle activated switch to work so I hotwired it through the toggle switch. Little did I know that that would cost me my motor. Well I ran this turbo 300zx last night and we got too close to the cars in front of me, well I hit my brakes and forgot to turn off the nitrous. Needless to say all I heard was clanking noises.It will start but makes noises and pours white smoke. Any ideas as to what I did? WIll I need machine work? I am selling my tuneport injection system with ecm, and all sensors(going carb on buildup).I am also selling my new nos kit for a tuneport if anyone wants it.

No really, have no idea until you open it up. Doesn't sound good though. Bye bye head gaskets. Sounds like you grenaded a couple pistons too. Bent a rod or too, who knows? Forgive me, but that switch you hooked up was a stupid idea. Should have just hooke dup one of those momentary buttons that stops working when released. Oh well, live and learn right. How much for your TPI and will you part out?

Yeah I know it was a stupid thing to do. This mistake is gonna cost my *** a lot. I'd rather sell the system whole, not sure as to what to ask for it yet, have to find out what its worth.

Yeah, that should not have happened. I ran a 150hp shot on a 305 for several bottles. I guess your rpms dropped below 2500rpm. How much for the nos kit? Is anything in the kit damaged? Is it NOS #5151?

damn, you made a really big mistake leaving off the throttle switch it is the key to longetivity. well i just took the 350 out of my vette and put in a 383. so i have a fairly complete vette longblock which is rollercam and lifters and aluminum heads. if you want it let me know in the email im asking 800 firm outta it oh by the way it has 74000
