as&m long tube or siamese

getting new runners soon witch ones will work better for my app.for i think that the long tubes might be best with the sc providing the extra air up top.

Intake runner length and plenum volume aren't nearly as important on a forced induction setup as it is on a self breather. Also even though the benifits of a free flowing intake tract aren't as large either it does help power to free it up. I am using modified SLP runners with the septum removed so that they are completely siamesed throughout their entire length. They have virtually no resistance to airflow. In fact they are now part of the plenum now. Set up this way my intake runner length is just slightly longer than a mini ram. (just the length of the manifold base) The free flow of the intake makes more torque than the tires (BFG Drag Radials) can handle if you just stand on the throttle from a standing start.
The AS&M siamesed runners have a higher flow rate (cfm) than the full length large tube units. That will allow them to make more power in all RPM ranges on a forced induction application.

I too lean towards siamesed runners with a SC. Siamesed doesn't loose hardly any bottom end torque and really assist in letting the SC breath at top rpms.

However, if you don't like the looks with siamesed runners, then go with the large tube. I have noticed that AS&M & TPIS don't list siamesed runners anymore in their most recent catalogues. So you may not be able to get them anymore, which will make your decision simple.
