I'm begging, please help me

I finaly got my car running (a month ago) and i'm have big problems getting it to run right. The car smells very rich and at 1700-2000rpms the car surges bad. I fixed all the vacume leaks I had and check the car with a scan tool and it looked o.k. I do have a Ed Wright custom chip in it so I wouldn't think it's the chip. Please help thanks.

Like I said every thing seemed fine. It only happens when I rev the car slow but if I rev the fast the tach flies right past it with no problem.

Is your o2 sensor ok? What is your fuel pressure? Do you have an afpr? What happens if you use the stock chip? Where is your air intake? You can have big problem with air coming from the radiator fan.

Well I took the custom chip out yesterday and put the stock one back in and no more problems. Thanks for the help.

I know that this is a late reply, but what about the TPS sensor. I had that problem on a stock L98. Just a note.
