Will they work??
I need injectors for my 91 trans am 305 TPI. Will injectors from a 1996 LT1 Work??
Also, what causes injectors to go bad? The car had 152,000 miles, is it time for them to die???

Those injectors will not be good for your 305 since you need 19# injectors and the LT1s are 24# injectors.
You'll run too rich.
Sometimes the tips crack and leak fuel or the solinoid in them goes bad or even a clogged screen in them.
There is someone that does rebuilds on injectors for like $10 each and I heard he does a great job.

Check out the injector cheaning.
Good Luck!

I wouldn't really recommend it for a 305.
If it is stock it could hurt you more than help. Then even with a cam and heads I really don't think it would be wise.
Anyway.
You would need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator first. Then you would need a custom chip programmed and if you don't do the programming yourself and have the equipment then you will need to buy one for around $300! Or by the equipment to do it yourself.
Either way it cost you over $300 and for that you could get new injectors for that! I think summit sells some ACCELL 19# injectors for around $250.
Good Luck
