What is the Proper way to adjust the IAC with an 58mm TB????

I need to adjust the IAC. the car doesn't seem to want to run right under 1000rpms, It does fine every where else. I can tell it is something to do with the Idle Air becuse when I let off the gas everything is fine until it gets down to like 1500 rpm and then it starts acting funny.

Have you tried following the procedure outlined in the tech section? I would think they're all the same regardless of what size TB you have on your car.

I have the EXACT same problem, except the car won't idle under 1k rpms. i need to adjust what has been suggest. I'm going to do that very soon.

leirch- what kind of chip are you running? I had to set my tps at .35v before mine (stock chip for now) would idle below 1000rpm. It fixed all my driveability problems. It's just a crutch though until I get something designed for my setup.

irocz, get this!, i'm running the stock 305tpi chip still!!!!
I need atleast a 350chip of some kind... i think i have a line on an 88 350hypertech chip that i might be able to copy to tide me over....

Try setting your tps to .35v and see what happens.

Stock TPS voltage should be at .54v +/- .08v
