Can you check the ign. module?

Is there any way to check/measure if the ignition module in distributor is b

As far as I know there isn't a way to check it with a volt/ohm meter. And It doesn't even put out any codes if it is bad!
But if you car runs worse as it heats up it is a pretty good chance it is the module going bad.
They are pretty cheap, $24, and if your car has over 50,000 miles on it, it would be a wise thing to replace.

You can take the module to a local auto parts store and they should be able to test it. The Auto zone in my area tests modules for free.
