All 90-92 fuel tanks have the baffles. Just get any one of those.

All the tanks in all the cars have baffles. The special 1le tank held close to 20 galons, had extra baffles around pick up, and the pick up would swing to pick up fuel in the direction of the fuel slosh. Good luck finding one.

The 18 gallon theory has yet to be proven. I ordered a 1LE tank. It came to be 15.5 gallons. Maybe my part # was for a 90-up baffled tank? Who knows? But it still has yet to be proven.

I posted a thread in the history/restoration forum about a guy who took his 91 1LE Trans Am down to empty, then filled it and it took 18 gallons. Thats all I know. But I've asked the GM dealer for a gas tank from a 1LE car and he said it was 15.5 gallons too.

When I replaced the fuel pump in my 92Z, I looked for baffels and did not see any. Was a plain ol' gas tank.
