Beware of Adam Hoskins!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I think you folks need to be aware. Adam Hoskins advertised some parts for sale in Dec. I paid him for a throttle body in Dec and still haven't received it. I've sent him numerous emails to follow-up and I either get no response or I've been told various excuses like--I haven't had time, I lost your address (twice), etc. Now I just got another email saying--quote "yes dear I sent it, but i sent it slow train...."

What a bunch of crap! Beware of buying anything from Adam Hoskins in Baytown TX with email address of B4CCamaroRcr@cs.com

Wow--I can't believe this! I'm new to this site, but I've been emailing him about some parts he advertised a few weeks ago. He's emailed me almost everyday. He gave me his phone numbers at home and work. He even sent a picture of himself and his car--but maybe that's because I'm a girl. I guess you can't trust anyone these days. People like that ruin a good thing because nobody will want to order things from these sites anymore. I'm sure glad I saw this post before he got my money. I think everyone who reads this should email him and tell him how you feel. JERK!

Also, be aware of a guy that went by the name OneBadBowtieRS also from Texas. I sent him a MO for an ECM for a 1991 RS TBI and never heard anything which has been about 5-6 months now.

yes it's dangerous out there. only time i've got screwed over was by ron riddle in rantoul illinois not picking up a cod at the post office ,so all i lost was 14 dollars shipping. i've sold a lot of stuff and no ones complained yet, bought a little and have came out ok. my son baought and alter sold soem parts to a guy in maryland. he was waiting on machine shop before he sent the parts out and lost the guys address. we've sent e mails every few days, wrote snail mail for his mailing address and he hasn't replied and we have his money. you'd think he'd be writting us.

if you pay by $ order and don't get your stuff then you can write the $ order people and get them to cancel it or send you a copy of the cashed m.o. then sue him for mail fraud. But it sure would be nicer and easier if people were just a little more honest.

Thats messed up that he is not doing legitimate business with you, but I bought a plenum off of him about 3 months ago and had no problems at all, and he sent it very promptly. I dont know whats goin on with this guy but if you have to.... sue him or do whatever you have to do to get the parts that you are supposed to get from him. Later and good luck

Guys, any transactions done over the internet are policed by the FBI, if you have any problems, contact your local FBI authority, or go to the web site and look around, I beleive they have a section up for internet stuff. Once you get a case number, email the jerkoff and see how fast the fix comes in.

Actually I think it is better to pay with a money order purchsed from the US Post Office. If they stiff you and you mailed it USPS, then they just committed a federal offense and the postal cops do follow up on such things.
