TPI Throttle Body Coolant Passage
I have a BBK 1539 TB and I just bought a Billet Specialities Water neck. The water neck will work with out the coolant passage attached to the TB. Can I make a block off plate or will this cause other problems? The TB is for the 1992 5.7 Motor. The reason I ask this question is because I misplaced the coolant housing to the TB and I can't remember if it has the IAC attached to it?

I'm not sure I completely understand your situation,
but you can bypass the coolant passage in the throttle body.

Re: TPI Throttle Body Coolant Passage
That is very interesting. Thanks for the link. My original question was if i could do away with the coolant passage all to together (physically remove it from the Throttle Body). I wanted to know what adverse reactions this would cause. The diagrahm from the link shows that the IAC is attached to the coolant passage, so I guess that is a negative on removing the housing all together.
