This a good deal on a tpi kit?

Never really thought I would be considering this route but... I was wondering if $800 was a good deal for TPI speed density 90-92 kit. This includes a new wiring harness, full intake, fuel pump, distributor, a few of the misc parts needed, and a modified LT1 intake for pre-87 heads (would sell this as I have a set of TBI or more likely vortec heads I'd use)

This would go in my 78 Caprice which I'm currently rebuilding (flooded) so it wouldn't be that hard to put in since I'll have the entire car and motor apart.

Bought it on lunch today, since I didn't get this in time. What headaches am I looking at?

I've done a couple odd ball changeovers like that. You really learn where everything goes for sure. Also, built three streetrods with TPI from scratch. It'll be worth it in the long run.
Go over to www.chevythunder.com and read some about changing out.
You'll need to go over to the DIY PROM section and learn how to edit your eprom data.
The VATS, canister, maybe EGR will have to come out most likely. You get addicted.
