Will 1986 58cc aluminum vette heads work on my 87 5.0 TPI motor. If so what changes would be needed to complete since one of my heads are shot I have to look into other options. Does anyone know how much the S/R torquer 305 heads are unassembled since I might use this as another option. Thanks

 

Assembled heads are usually a better deal than doing it yourself. Consider you have to grind all the valves, buy the springs, assemble, etc.

I believe to run the vette heads with the 1.94 valves, you may have a valve to cylinder wall interferance. I don't recall exactly, but I thought the 305 needed the cylinder wall notched. Maybe that was with a larger valve.
