Can I get new bolts for the TPI base?
Can I get new bolts for the TPI base?
I'm looking for the bolts the hold the TPI base plate to the heads. Where can I get them (other than a junk yard) and what should I expect to pay?

you can go to gm and have your intake looked up or bring them in and see if they can match them up with what they have.

Personally, i'm going to wage war on Torx very shortly (summer) and i plan on useing regular ole' metric bolts like i did for the top half. All i had to do was have the hardware store guy match them up. Cost me about 3 bucks.

I think that they are 8mm.Just bring them down to the hardware store, and buy some new ones.I found Stainless steel allen bolts look really nice, and they dont rust up quik like the black bolts.

Go to www.ebaymotors.com and do a search for TPI. I purchased a 71 piece TPI intake bolt set for $35, but i see them go for $30-40 all the time. The box of bolts I got didnt match the pretty packaging in the picture shown, but I got all pieces and am happy with it.

Totally Stainless makes a really nice set for TPI's and they are allen head instead of torx.
