305 TPI EGR questions

The previous owner of my 305TPI switched the EGR canister to the driver side to fit the supercharger in. Only one of the three tubes that are connected to it go anywhere. Could someone please tell me where each tube is intended to go from the evaporative canister? Also wtf is the sphere thing?

Charcoal canister is just for emissions. Fuel vapor is sucked into the intake manifold via a purge valve on the canister. If it gets clogged it creates vacuum in your fuel lines which causes your fuel pump to have to work harder to do the same thing(or less)...
