Lifter question with xfi-268

To those using this cam, did you have to upgrade to aftermarket roller lifters as well because of the large lift? I read somewhere stock roller lifters will fall into the lifter valley too far and destroy the new cam in seconds. I am a cam newbie and want to budget everything for the new motor(E-tec 200 headed LTR TPI with xfi-268 cam)
thanks gurus

I'm running stock lifters. Everything checked out fine during assembly.

Re: Lifter question with xfi-268

unless yours are worn out from high mileage...those lobes are pretty aggressive so you'll want fresh lifters...as long as yours look good they should be fine

E-Tec 200 heads and XFI 268 cam running here, no problems with stock-style lifters.
