Re: Gas Mileage

Wonderful - now the car seems to have decided to take forever to start on two seperate occasions (having started up just fine about 2 hours before - and then starting fine after).

That SES light is probably burnt out, and the car is probably throwing codes like a pitcher in baseball.

I'm sick of all this high-tech ****.

Re: Gas Mileage

Checked the SES light today and guess what...it's not even there!

This car took a long time to start 3 hours after stopping at a friends house today (and it almost sounded like it has no spark, but I can't tell - it used to do this, but the fuel pump was bad then - I doubt it went through a BBK fuel pump in 5 months).

Also, the gas mileage is so much WORSE than before, hell, it would seem I can watch the gauge go down. I'm going to get like 100 miles to the tank this time.

I'm sick of this engine.

Re: Gas Mileage

Put a bulb in the SES light socket, it does not stay lit.

No codes being thrown, so it's something mechanical...

Re: Gas Mileage

Umm, I got a bad tank of gas (I think), that's why it ran terrible - 8.5 mpg.

I just got 9-ish last tank, but the bad tank was still present, kinda.

I think I should be getting "normal" here now...I dunno (as in 11).
