I have a 88 IROC with a TPI 350.I am installing a ZZ4 cam.For mods I have SLP runners,elderbrock intake,3.73 gears,2200 stall,FPR,airfoil and chip.I have a set of Dart IIs with 200cc runners and 2.05 intake valves.Will these heads work with this combo?Also what injecters will work for this setup?

 

These heads were never on my car.I need to know if they will work with this combo?If not I have them sold.

 

Can anyone please give me a reply.I have someone who is interested in buying the darts.They are checking them out Saturday.

I think an intake of 2.05 is way too big for a TPI 350 even a modded 350. I think the velocity of the air flow will slow down too much and even cause the motor to run slower.
Now I could be wrong and if I am someone please jump in and set me straight.
Maybe a carb'd engine and a real aggressive cam could handle it but I don't know carb engines too well.
The other thing would be to ask the guys on the power adder section cause they maybe the ones to use larger valves.
Wish I could have helped you more, sorry.
But I would sell and get heads with 2.02 valves.

the runners onn those heads are way to big even on a heavily modded 350 you should only need a good set of 195 cc heads at the most. any larger you will void what a tuned intake setup is engineered to do
