got my car dynoed kinda disapointed whatcha think?

got my car dynoed at power tour fri i pulled 263.4hp @4800 and 332.1 tq@3600 at rear wheelsive got a 87 355 tpi with edelbrock base and runners afr 195cc heads comucam 2032 1.65 roller rockers 10 to 1 compression whatcha think? i was hoping for 300 rear wheels

4" mufflex system
custom ED Wright chip
eddelbroc intake base and runners and much more
new best ET 13.5 @104.66 on stock heads
no times with new afr heads hoping for 12's on motor

Was it just a dyno run or a dyno tune? Try to see what the A/F ratio is and where you need to add/subtract fuel. Makes all the difference.

damn that is really low. id expect to see 320+ at the wheels. What is the grind on the cam? Also those AFR's might be holding you back. Most AFR heads i have seen have really crappy intake to exhaust ratios. You might want to consider some better heads, maybe some Brodix or Darts. Even GMPP aluminum L98 heads have better ratios.

I've heard that Crane makes some crappy cams for our cars. I've seen the specs on the catalogs and they don't seem very big.

theformula is right. I went to a dyno tune and did my pulls with a wide band O2 sensor. I was running real rich. I pulled out my Ed Wright chip and installed a new chip that a local guy just burned based off the readings. After 3 pulls, with some adjustments in between, I picked up 15 more HP.

well last year i ran a best of 13.3 and a consistant 13.5@104.66 on stock heads i thought my new heads would really help me out i was hoping for 12,s
