snapped IAC in throttle body!!!!
Yup. Broke the IAC in the throttle body. Now I need to find that plate that goes on top of the throttle body where the vacuum harness goes, if that is what it's called.
I need serious help as this is my daily driver. What is the name of the plate that the IAC goes into? Where would I be able to get one.
Thanks so much.

isn't the IAC plastic? If so,just break the pieces out and get a new IAC valve. If you need that plate,I happen to have a 2.8 from a 88 rs in my driveway. The motor is no good, but that part is.

Re: snapped IAC in throttle body!!!!
Good news, I got the broken threaded piece of the IAC out of the housing with a chisel and a hammer.
Now I just need to find a new IAC. I was looking at Autozone's website and found this:
http://www.autozone.com/N,15900207/s...eResultSet.htm
I'm assuming the two different part numbers are the threaded and non-threaded versions, but I can't tell as there are no pictures. Hopefully my Autozone will have the threaded one in stock, otherwise I need to order it.
