Where are your supercoils mounted?

I have an Accel supercoil and I am curious to where you have mounted them. A pic would be nice or you could just explain where it is as well. I am not sure where to put mine. I have seen one pic of it mounted to the strut tower but I am not sure if that is where everyone has put it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a pic but mine is mounted on the firewall between the wiper motor and brake booster.

I made a bracket that I was able to mount the Supercoil. The bracket looks like a little "box" about 1/2"-3/4" high that allowed me to put bolts through it, into the Supercoil itself. The bottom of the bracket was extended on the "back side" another 1" where I put holes that allowed me to mount it in the stock location. Looks like it always belonged there, and keeps that coil lead from getting too long.

Mine is on the firewall near the master cylinder. It was on there before I bought the car. I don't know if you can tell by the pic, but here it is anyway https://www.thirdgen.org/rides/ridei...EnginePass.jpg

Like Glenn91L98GTA, I used a piece of scrap 1/4" aluminum plating I found at a ship yard while I was in the Navy and cut it down to mount the coil. I mounted the coil horizonitaly on the aluminum, offset towards the ac condenser, leaving enough metal on the engine side to drill two holes through the plate and mount it to the orginal coil bracket.

Thanks for the replys guys. Trick I would love to be able to do that but i do have my ac stuff so that wont work. Glen and Panthro is it that dificult to do it. Could there be any way that you could get a pic if not thats cool I will see if I have you guys figured out. So all it is is a piece of metal that is about 1/4" thick and how wide? about 2" or the width of the super coil. and how long exactly? 3 maybe 4" long? I havent looked that closely on what type of room is there so I will take a look at it when I get the chance. Thanks again any other help would be great.

I used to have mine mounted forward of the master cylinder until that POS screwed up on me and left me stranded out in cottage country. Replaced with stock coil and have never looked back.

I'm going to be replacing an injector this weekend and I will probably need to take it off anyway. I'll take some measurements and do up something in paint and e-mail it to you.

I thought you posted a pic off my website! That looks exactly like mine. It works pretty decent there I think. Later

I mounted mine in the stock location by using two thick metal L shaped brackets I bought from my local hardware store. I drilled the necessary holes to mount the coil, then the L shape of the bracket screwed into the stock mounting holes, looks great and no drilling of holes in the firewall.
